The Tree of Time
Babylon19 is Madam Ella's place for activism. The organization's main areas of focus are: social change, justice and inclusion.
Madam Ella has been writing poetry since its inception. In fact, all her poems are geared towards women empowerment and community service. And in the midst of metaphors, we can understand that the betterment of lives are her priority. The symbol of a tree as an image of life is a recurring theme in her writings.
On January 19th - 2021, she wrote a poem of times and seasons. The very first line read: "Time can be read in a tree." Babylon19 commissioned Artificial Intelligence to paint trees with visible cores. Those rings inside a tree are the keepers of time. Those rings inside a tree are the art!
